Poem on People Pleaser: Choices, Freezing Empathy

What’s Behind My Poem

We can’t deny that some cultures have taught people to treat others over respectfully. A lot of kids have met some authorities in their environment, and they’re not allow to fight no matter what. Many of them grew up being people pleaser because of their culture. Isn’t it too tragic to happen?

Understanding is great, respecting people is awesome. But, giving too much can be dangerously bad.

sometimes it also means an invitation to some types of craziness. People can use you, can take you to harmful life stages you’ve never imagined. Their probability is all there since they know the way you’re thinking.

Right, they can destroy your life in any chance. But remember, don’t let the freezing empathies bring you to die. You can change what’s changeable. You can change the way you think and there comes an action that leads to some wayout.

Be quick, be strategic. You can always find another way to better places. You can always find an exit door. Don’t ever return your mind to people pleaser mode again.

Choices, Freezing Empathy

Social Commentary Poem

Choices are everywhere with me, with you

But only for you

why can’t I easily say

they’re closer than a slice of heart?

Choices are there wherever we are

because life gate’s the chosen side

between the easy and hard

from anything we decide

Yes, I’ve took my spirit not to accuse

Although you’ve got tons of ego and sickening excuse

To drown me in the deepest river of blues

Remember long ago, I started blending to your unread side

We had the same start

but all was workless because you leaving heart

while I never wanted any hearts to be apart

And I’ve been allowing you to slowly fix the dark

But what you show is nothing better than dog’s bark

Killing all of the love sparks

taking off everything from hands

Crossing what I know as fine,

the more you losing mind

and we never get to be the one

But you have always won

Ok, congratulations from these everlasting bleeding wounds

Now, recall everything you’ve chosen

I said they brought too much torture

But you clapped and got amused

Keep showing a heart that’s being unused

To understand better, replace me with your daughter

Right after, kill her sincerity flower

Stand up in front of the mirror

face  your own authority power

If it never brings you brighter

empathy may has been lodged in the freezer

not now, yesterday, but forever

Choices are never gonna be far from every breath

and it’s never gonna be late to choose

closing the big book neatly

moving away from the freezing empathy

saving ourselves from the heartless

living efflorescence with the harmless
